Cherok Tok Kun Relics
It has a big and smooth block of granite where it is believed that it gives bearing inspiration to the local people espeically Chinese, Jawi, English and classical Indian (Pali) in the 4th and 5th century.

Bukit Mertajam Recreational Park
It is located 18 km from the Butterworth Ferry terminal. The cool hill air encourages a variety of plants and creatures to inhabit there like ferns, epiphytes, wild flowers, exotic butterflies, birds and insects. There are also numerous of jungle tracks where it will lead to the centre of the forest.

One of the wonderful pictures I captured at Tokun.

This was the unforgetable moment, I did my aerobic training there everyday once years ago.

Swimming
Swimming is a healthy activity. It works practically for all of the muscles in the body (if you do a variety of strokes). Swimming can develop a swimmer's general strength, cardiovascular fitness and endurance.

I started swimming when I was in my form 6. I did it because I wanted to improve my balance ability due to over-trained of badminton. I did a lot of hard-works in this. After 8 months, I get my first license in swimming. I get ILS licence together with bronze license.

Additional Health Benefits of Swimming
  • Whole body conditioning: Swimming tones your upper and lower body because you’re using almost all of your major muscle groups. The best strokes for all-over body toning are the freestyle, breaststroke and backstroke.

  • Low risk of injury: There is a low risk for swimming injuries because there’s no stress on your bones, joints or connective tissues due to buoyancy and the fact that you weigh 1/10th less in water.

My first coach is Khoo Soo Aun, he just passed away 6 months ago. He was a very professional swimming coach.
I get my ILS licence at Bukit Mertajam Country Club (BMCC) in the year of 2008.
I assisted Mr. Wong (+60124843803) in coaching for swimming for three months, and became half year of part-time life guard at BMCC, I rescued people. :)
The famous swimming venues in Penang are BMCC, Seberang Jaya Swimming Pool, PISA Stadium, and Taman Teratai Swimming Pool.

The recent water sport activity I joined and awarded silver medal, at Penang.

Hard Gymnastic

During form five, through my friend's introduction, from SGM (Soka Gakkai Malaysia), I was exposed to gymnastic. Every Sunday, I will be at Bukit Tambun Cultural Centre to have my gymnastic training and practice my faith. After I received an offer from UMS to study Sport Science, I left there. However, I continued my gymnastic practice in Likas Stadium guided by Billy. Billy was an ex-gymnast representative of Sabah State. I had performed 3 gymnastic performances in Sabah. In Padang Merdeka (2009 & 2010) for Hari Malaysia and SGM Youth Day at SGM Sabah (2011).
We strongly believe, by honestly expressing the real culture, can bring the peace to the community society, we are all volunteers.

My latest performance with my team members at Penang.
Lee Chien Khing (second left from the 4th row),  is a second year Sport Science student, my junior. We strived the gymnastic formation successfully.

We try to bring out the significant meaning behind the performance.

They are well-trained UMS Taekwondo trainers.
